Installative Präsentation des digitalen Unort-Archivs des Kunstvereins Sankt Pauli by Ramona Kortya & Malin Dorn

The two artists Ramona Kortya & Malin Dorn worked intensively with the digital Unort (“non-place”) archive of the Kunstverein St. Pauli in the largely empty Vivo Center in Hamburg-Ottensen as part of the Practice of Places project.

The result is a multi-media installation that combines various non-locations in a digital landscape. Loosely related places are related to each other beyond geographical distances. The archive grows steadily and continuously and brings together dozens of non-places that remain in a dysfunctional state of suspension and that is precisely why they exert a completely unique fascination. The archive is used for artistic research and forms the future basis for further work and collaborations.
