The musician, producer and sound engineer primarily uses field recordings for his compositions. The resulting semantically charged soundscapes oscillate between naturalistic silence and expansive compositions based on musical principles of order. Listeners are invited to question the boundaries between noise and sound.

+-4 is a sound collective around the violinist and sound artist Emilie Schmidt and the saxophonist and sound electronics engineer Philipp Broda with music between improvisation, ambient & drone sounds, inspired by jazz, folk, sound art and sound tinkering.
