Future re-thinking, re-inventing, re-doing

An art academy is a very special place, characterised by the freedom of its students to critically question themselves and their environment, to develop attitudes and to actively rethink the future.

For the spatial exhibit “Future re-thinking, re-inventing, re-doing”, conventional university and administrative categories in individual departments are deliberately suspended; objects, elements and materials are arranged side by side in the spce to create a sometimes more, sometimes less utopian vision of the future.

The curatorial play with subject-specific attributions and the principle of usefulness and usability is deliberately deployed in this large-scale presentation as a means of celebrating the diversity of visual realisation and divergent form-finding.
