Frontalansicht | Kaspar Pansegrau – LEAP INTO THE VOID

The installation LEAP INTO THE VOID by Kaspar Pansegrau extends across the entire window front of the sp ce | Muthesius and was specially designed for this purpose. Taking up the basic idea of the process-oriented project, it encourages passers-by to take a leap into the void.

 At first glance, the void appears to be a black, all-consuming hole. At second glance, however, a colorful sea of lights can be seen, wafting and claiming the space bordering the void for itself. Whether merging or remaining on its own, the possibilities seem limitless. There is no standstill.

 Kaspar Pansegrau was inspired by space photographs, which – literally infinite anyway – reveal something new with every level of magnification, every additional grain of color.
