Zeitgeist - Sonja Christl / Laura Liebchen

The exhibition Zeitgeist is the first solo exhibition by the two artists Sonja Christl & Laura Liebchen, which spins sculptural and performative moments into a situation as an overall composition.

In the space, fabrics and cloths, filtered daylight, digital images, sound and performance enter into a dialog with each other and begin to question each other through their form, content dimension and spatial conditions. An elementary object is a curtain sewn together from old textiles, which refracts the light and envelops the space in a certain atmosphere.

It is the starting point of the Durational Performance. In repetitive actions, the performer repeatedly turns into the wet curtain, leaving a trace in the room and setting the rhythm.
