Muthesius Projects Scholarship

10

The relevance of creative professions is essential, not only for the cultural landscape, but economically. They have a lasting influence on quality of life, attractiveness and economic strength. Starting a career after graduation is particularly problematic because structures are lacking and are often built up independently over years.

Since 2009, the Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts has offered Master's graduates from all degree programmes the opportunity to submit a design or artistic project and to have their artistic research funded for one to two years through scholarships.

By means of individual presentations of selected projects by current scholarship holders, this extraordinary commitment is given space to actively shape the moment of exhibiting alongside the realisation of the project and to sharpen the form of presenting, of positioning oneself.
